Franklin Well Services, Inc.Office Manager & Operational Accountant:  Andrea Morgan

Andrea Morgan was raised in Olney, a small town in southeastern Illinois.  The only child of a military family, she was born in Duluth, Minnesota in 1976.  Her father, a Master Sergeant with the United States Air Force, retired in 1981 after 20 years of service.  He then relocated the family back to Illinois, where they were originally from.

Having grown up in Olney, Andrea attended East Richland High School, where she graduated with honors in 1994.  She then pursued her education by attending Olney Central College, graduating in 1997, with associate degrees in both accounting and office management.  In August of 1999, she began her career with Franklin Well Services, Inc. as the Office Manager.  This title involved all aspects of accounting, including everything from data entry to the issuing of financial statements.  In June of 2003, Andrea was given the additional title of Operational Accountant.  She is solely accountable for the auditing and controlling of the company’s financial information.   Her position requires that all tasks and duties be completed accurately and in a timely manner.  She ensures that the company is in full compliance with all tax and government regulations and also assists the General Manager with the formulation of budgets that is consistent with the profit objectives of the company.

Ms. Morgan is a member of several affiliations, including the Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce, the Illinois Oil and Gas Association, the Indiana Oil and Gas Association, and the American Gas Association.

When asked to comment on the expansion of the service company, she said, “When I first started working for Franklin, there were only about 7 employees.  Now, there are over 30 employed by the company.  This business has expanded tremendously in the last five years.  If we continue to grow at this rate, there will be over 100 employees in another five years.”
